Insurance Coverage

We offer insurance-covered lactation support for some plans and partners. The sections below will help you understand which insurance path may apply to your family.

Insurance Coverage Through The Lactation Network (TLN)

We work with The Lactation Network (TLN) to help coordinate insurance-covered lactation visits for eligible plans.
Plans that may be eligible include:
     • Aetna
     • UnitedHealthcare / UMR
     • First Health
     • Sutter Health
     • PNOA
     • MultiPlan PPO
     • Velocity PPO

Coverage eligibility is determined by TLN and is not guaranteed.

Next Steps

1. Check your insurance coverage. Complete TLN’s Check My Insurance Coverage form using the button below.

2. Watch for an email from TLN
TLN will review your insurance plan and contact you by email, typically within a few business days (often sooner if your concern is time-sensitive).

3. Schedule your appointment
Once approved, you may schedule your visit online.
You are also welcome to schedule while waiting to hear back from TLN.

Insurance Coverage Through Wildflower Health (Cigna)

We work with Wildflower Health to help coordinate insurance-covered lactation visits for eligible Cigna plans.
Plans that may be eligible include:
     • Cigna

Coverage eligibility is determined by Wildflower and Cigna and is not guaranteed.

Next Steps

1. Check your insurance coverage. Complete Wildflower’s coverage verification process using the button below.

2. Watch for an email from Wildflower. They will review your benefits and provide guidance on next steps based on your specific Cigna plan.

3. Schedule your appointment. Once coverage is confirmed, you may schedule your visit online. You are also welcome to schedule while waiting to hear back unless otherwise directed.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

If your insurance plan is a PPO or includes out-of-network benefits, you may still be eligible for reimbursement.

You’ll pay at the time of booking, and we’ll provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Not sure which insurance path applies to you?

You’re always welcome to reach out, and we’re happy to help guide you in the right direction.
