Support for feeding, comfort, and connection
IBCLC-led lactation care and gentle bodywork for infants, children, and adults.

Behind the practice
A compassionate approach to infant
and family wellness
Care here is rooted in gentle, responsive bodywork that supports people through many phases of life from infancy and early feeding, through childhood, adulthood, and the perinatal period.
Sessions are guided by careful listening and a soft, attuned touch, with attention to how tension patterns may develop through birth experiences, feeding challenges, growth, and life transitions. Each session is paced to support comfort, regulation, and a greater sense of ease in the body.
Lactation care is available for families navigating feeding challenges and is informed by a deep understanding of infant development, oral function, and nervous system regulation. When helpful, families may choose sessions that thoughtfully combine both forms of care.

We are so grateful for Hideko and everything she did for our family during our son’s tongue tie release. She educated us on tongue posture, talked through his narrow palate, and gave us specific exercises and oral tools we could use at home.

Physician's Assistant
One of the things I appreciated most was Hideko’s ability to listen to our story and cater her interventions to meet our specific needs. She’s not a “one size fits all” therapist.

I recommend ALL babies to work with Hideko. It was life changing for our sweet baby to go through her CST sessions. There was a huge difference after each session as well as overall. I tell every parent I know about her cause there’s no one better.

Noticeable Tension in Infants
Some infants appear relaxed and comfortable in their bodies, while others seem tense, rigid, or uneasy. Families may sense that something feels “held,” even if it’s hard to describe. Common signs Stiffness or rigidity Head-turning preference Arching or difficulty relaxing Difficulty settling Sensitivity to handling Asymmetrical posture or movement How lactation support & bodywork can […]
Sleep Difficulties in Infants & Young Children
Sleep difficulties are often closely connected to how comfortable and regulated an infant or young child feels in their body. Frequent waking, difficulty settling, or short sleep stretches can be exhausting for caregivers—especially when nothing seems to help consistently. Rather than focusing on schedules or sleep training, this approach looks at comfort, regulation, and the […]
Digestive Discomfort in Infants: Supporting Comfort and Ease
Digestive discomfort in infants can be hard to witness. Families may notice their infant appearing uncomfortable or distressed, especially during or after feeds. Gas, reflux-like symptoms, arching, or difficulty settling can affect feeding, sleep, and overall regulation—and can feel exhausting for parents. Digestive discomfort is often multifactorial, involving feeding patterns, posture, tension, and nervous system […]
