Hideko Brnak, IBCLC
Hideko Brnak is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) offering lactation support and gentle bodywork for infants, children, and adults.
Her work supports families navigating feeding challenges, differences in regulation, and periods of transition from early infancy through childhood, while also supporting adults seeking care for comfort, balance, and overall wellbeing. Sessions are guided by careful listening, thoughtful observation, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
Families and individuals often arrive feeling unsure or overwhelmed. Hideko’s role is to create a sense of safety first and a space where infants, children, and adults can slow down, feel supported, and be met with care.

Grounded in Experience
Hideko’s path into this work was shaped in part by her own experiences navigating extreme feeding challenges and early parenthood. As a mother of two, who breastfed each child for several years, she understands firsthand how complex, emotional, and meaningful feeding journeys can be.
Those experiences continue to inform how she shows up for families and individuals today, with patience, curiosity, and deep respect for the complexity of feeding and development.
She believes care should feel calm, supportive, and collaborative rather than rushed or prescriptive.
A Relationship-Centered Approach
Meaningful care begins within relationships.
Sessions are unhurried and collaborative. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, care adapts to each person’s rhythms, sensitivities, and goals. Guidance is offered thoughtfully in response to what is present in the moment.
Through lactation support and gentle craniosacral-informed bodywork, sessions support comfort, coordination, and overall ease, allowing infants, children, and adults the space to settle and integrate in their own time.
This work is not about forcing change. It is about creating the conditions for the body to organize and shift naturally when it feels safe to do so.
Lactation Support & Gentle Bodywork
Hideko offers lactation support alongside gentle bodywork therapies, including craniosacral therapy, to support comfort, regulation, and overall ease.
Through light, respectful touch and attentive observation, sessions support how an infant’s body experiences feeding, movement, and connection. Care remains responsive and adaptable, allowing the infant or child to lead and rest as needed.
This work is not about forcing change, but about creating the conditions for the body to settle, organize, and integrate in its own time.
Supporting Families Through Change
Infant and family needs often shift as time goes on.
Hideko works alongside families through different stages, from early feeding support to later transitions such as pumping, bottles, or returning to work. Sessions adapt as circumstances change, offering continuity without pressure or expectation.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes, care emphasizes helping families better understand their infant’s cues, supporting confidence as challenges evolve.
Philosophy of Care
Hideko believes that when the body feels safe, change becomes possible.
Her work is grounded in slowing down, listening closely, and honoring the pace of each infant and family. Care remains gentle, respectful, and attuned, always centered on what feels supportive in that moment.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes, care emphasizes helping families better understand their infant’s cues, supporting confidence as challenges evolve.
